This week has been a great week. We got a new family pet. His name is Grass and he is a grasshopper. Atticus learned about bugs this week in preschool. His little class went on a walk to the park and collected bugs. Atticus was very excited to bring Grass home to our family. Grass even sleeps with Atticus -in his bug collector case. He is a good pet, very low maintenance. We put a few leaves and pieces of grass in the case, but I have been wondering if grassshoppers need water as well?

Atticus has always been an early riser. No matter what time he goes to bed, he is up at 6:00 am. He does usually wake up very happy though.

Great pics as usual...we are dog-sitting this weekend, should be an adventure. Maybe the dogs will keep the cottontail bunnies out of our yard.
