Atticus started Kindergarten this year even though I really debated whether to hold him back or not. The cut off date to start school here is September 30th and Atticus' birthday is the 19th of September. When school started he was still 4 years old. Other than being one of the youngest in his class there really was no reason to hold him back. He wanted to go and has always seemed to be pretty mature for his age. I am glad to say that this year has been great and Atticus has thrived in Kindergarten. He has done a great job and is reading like a champ. His teacher always tells me how patient he is and what a good student he is. Last week Atticus recieved his 2nd 200 club award for good behavior. His name was announced at Flag ceremony on Friday and he got to go up in front of the entire school. We snuck in to get a quick picture or two.
